Pet Pride Day

San Francisco takes its Pride seriously.
There are big pride celebrations and parades in this city,
including this pride day that's for the dogs!

I mentioned a few posts back that my neighbors took me to a parade when my family went someplace with Jagger and I wasn't invited.  I think I was lucky though, because I had a lot of fun at Pet Pride Day!

There were lots of activities:
the parade, trick contests and costume contests.
And, lots of booths with treats!

Me and Bridget, checking out all the good smells !

I got to spend the afternoon with my favorite neighbor, Bridget!

Me and Bridget, with Bridget's Mom, LaPriel.

Bridget's family is super nice, and they said they really liked me!  I really like them too!

Me, getting hugs from Lauren.

Me and Bridget had a lot of fun,
we were really happy and smiling the whole afternoon.

After the Pride Day festivities, we went to Bridget's house where Bridget and I played, explored and took naps until my family came home to get me.

Me, saying Thank You!

I'm so glad the Rossi family took me to Pet Pride Day!

Now, whenever I can, I run over to Bridget's house to see if she is home. Only OM yells at me, and makes me go home.  OM says it's rude to barge over to Bridget's house by myself, I have to be invited first.  Rules sure are hard to keep up with!

Public Service Announcement

Me, with an important message.

Mom visited me!

Mom visited me!  I was so happy to see her!

Me, giving Mom kisses!

Mom was only here for a few days and she was busy every night, but
we got to do some things during the day.
I took her to a few of my favorite new places:

Me, playing ball in Golden Gate Park.

Me, waiting for Mom to take my leash off so I can show her around the beach!

Me and Mom, looking at sand dollars.

Me, showing Mom how I find crabs to eat!

Me and Mom, spending time together.

Mom, giving me some good advice.

I loved having Mom here with me in San Francisco!

Every morning I would check to make sure she was in her bed.

And, I really listen to Mom.  She worked very hard training me to be a good dog.

Bye Mom, I love you!

Then, one morning, too soon,
Mom had her suitcase packed,
and said goodbye to me.

I hope Mom visits me again soon!

A new favorite thing: Dinner Parties!

OM and Big D had a dinner party, and I helped entertain everybody!
After a big dinner, I showed everyone how to really relax.

Me, demonstrating how to really relax after dinner.

When you're as relaxed as me,  people like to give  lots of tummy rubs!
Everyone paid really close attention and got some good ideas
on how to relax so they could learn to get rubs like me.

Me, relaxing with my new friends Diane and Renee.

A week of Bebop

It's been a busy week for me since I arrived in San Francisco.  That horrible plane ride and being cooped up in the crate for so long seems like a long time ago, I've had so many new adventures in one week!

Here's some of the things I did:

Me and Jagger taking a break from fetching, for a few minutes.

OM takes me and Jagger out a lot to play fetch with the Chuckit!®.  It's a lot of work, so we get pretty tired and pant a lot.

Me, looking to see if Bridget is outside.

I spent a day with Bridget, my cute neighbor, when my OM, Big D and Jagger went to something called Circus Class.  I guess I'll be starting Circus Class next week.  Bridget's family took us to a dog parade!  I'll post about that later.  I had so much fun with Bridget!  I'm always keeping an eye out for her.

Me and Jagger, sitting on a bench watching the sun set.

OM likes to take me and Jagger on a walk to Sunset Reservoir, to watch the sun set.  I don't really care so much about the color of the sun set, but I do love walks!

Me and Jagger, watching the ducks on the lake.

We take a lot of walks, and sit on benches checking out the scenery.

Hi!

Me and Jagger, looking around.

OM is always stopping and looking at different sites.  She says San Francisco is beautiful!  So, me and Jagger stop too, and look and sniff around.

Me and Jagger at the beginning of Lands End.

One day we took a long hike to this place.  It's one of OM's favorite places.

Me and Jagger and my first photo with the Golden Gate Bridge.

We stopped a lot on this hike to look at views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

And another photo with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background!

Me and Jagger, playing at the beach again!

At the end of that long hike we ended up at this place!  The beach!  We walked all the way home along the beach.  I love this place.

Me and Jagger have become friends.  I think he's going to like having me around.  I'm glad, because I do miss Enoch so much, so it'll be fun to pal around with Jagger.

It's been a great first week with my new family in San Francisco, and I'm okay!  It was hard to leave my family in Portland, but I can tell I'm going to love my new home in San Francisco.  Plus, OM tells me my Mom will visit next week!  Yay!

Some mis-adventures of Bebop

It hasn't all been smooth and happy stuff since I arrived in San Francisco.  Just to let you know, even I, Bebop, can have some trouble.
I destroyed one of Jagger's toys.

I pooped inside.
I like Big D's chair, butI hear OFF a lot.
And worst of all, OM took Jagger on a walk without me!  She left me!  Even though Big D was here, and he fed me breakfast, that did not make me feel better at all.  All I could do was howl,
it was so awful.
Me, upset and howling.

I hope my next post is something happy.

hugs,
Bebop

My busy afternoon!

Today, Jagger went out with his dog walking group so I had alone time with OM.

 This is what happened:

We went on a bike ride!
When I got home I met my neighbor, Bridget!  She's young, like me.  She was excited to meet me and play with me.  Me too!

Hey, we have similar markings!
We rolled and chewed on each other.
Ate grass and bark chips.

Bridget is an American Bull Dog.  She's 7 1/2 months old and weighs 75 lbs.  I think she's going to be bigger than me.

I really like her.  We're going to play together again soon.  Yay!  I have a new friend in the neighborhood!

hugs!

Kitchen Helper

Me, Kitchen Helper

Since I've moved to San Francisco I've assigned myself some tasks. I really like to help out in the kitchen.

Look at all the things I do to help:

Here I am checking to see if the delicious smelling food in the oven is done.

Here I am helping clean the dishes.
Here I am checking to see if the trash needs to be taken out.
Me, waiting for someone to say, "thank you".

I don't understand when OM tells me to LEAVE IT.  I think the people are pretty lucky to have all this extra help.

I can't wait to help out in the garden!

smooches everyone,

My Favorite Things!

Okay, Let's get this out of the way:
I'm going to refer to my Other Mom as OM because it'll be simpler to type that out. Other Dad will be Big D.

Okay, well this boring morning really turned into a great day because I got to do some of my favorite things: Eat! Car rides! Walks! Playing Ball! Running on the beach! Eating crab! More on that last item in a bit.  First, things started to get really exciting when OM got Jagger and I into the back of the Mini, rolled down the windows and off we went!

We arrived at this place:

This place has fun written all over it!

This place is for the dogs!  There were my kind everywhere.  I had a good time meeting so many well-behaved dogs.

OM was oohing and ahhhing about the sights.  I was just having a blast running around.

Jagger led us this way.

Me, bowing to the ocean.

There was a lot of beach to run on!  And, I discovered crabs!  I really liked them.  But, OM kept yelling at me to LEAVE IT.  I couldn't help myself though, they were so good and all over the place.

Me, waiting to see if the crab claws at me again.

One crab surprised me when it stood up and snapped its claws at me.  I barked and bounced a lot about it.  I hear crabs are a delicacy, and they cost a lot of money.  I think that's silly.  People should come with me to the beach and I'll show them lots of crabs for free!

Me and Jagger, running and playing.

Me and Jagger, swimming.

It was a great day, and we spent hours at this fun place.  I hope we get to come back soon so I can do more of my favorite things, like car rides and going to beaches and running and playing!

I'm alright Mom, I love you!
